Hello, hello, hello!
Welcome to my second blog traffic report. In these blog posts, I try to show you how my traffic did in the past month and a sum result of how the blog is doing thus far.
Here is the last one, for your viewing pleasure.
I do this for a few reasons:
It helps me keep track of my own progress
It creates a reference point for me to look back and expand on
It shows whoever is starting out their blogging journey to know what to expect
It can be quite inspiring to know you are not alone in whatever stage you are
Some things that are important to notice:
I use Wix as my chosen blogging software because I like the ease of messing with it, as I like other features such as their SEO Assistant. I saw their ads, had already heard about them, tried it out, and liked it, simple as that.
I don't use any type of paid traffic, as I plan to develop this blog organically for as long as I see fit.
I only use Pinterest to promote my posts but am thinking about expanding to Instagram
Let's dive into the blog traffic

For reference, I started the blog on May 22nd, so I start the traffic report analysis on the 23rd of the previous month and end it on the 22nd of the present month.
For my second blog traffic report, here are the main numbers for the current month:
Site sessions: 19
Unique visitors: 10
Avg. sessions duration: 2m 11s
If you compare it to the last one, you'll see that the number of site sessions has decreased quite a bit, right? I noticed I used to show people the blog and check on it often, but decided to stop doing it as much as I can so that I can get can a better sense of actual organic visits.
Pinterest has begun to show its colors, although quite slowly and another source of visits I keep seeing month after month is Pexels. I use Pexels as my source of royalty-free photos and I get an email once a week from them, asking me how I used the photos I downloaded. I link the blog post I used the photo in and the creators can see their art in use.
Other than that, the growth is slow and I have gone a few days without a single visit. I guess that is quite normal, as this blog is still quite young and this is to be expected. If you don't know, it takes Google and some other search engines a few months until they can account for your content creation and start showing it more frequently in the search results. There are whole strategies centered around it and someday I might touch on them.
The bigger picture

Ever since starting the blog, this is what I have:
Site sessions: 55 site sessions
Unique visitors: 26
Avd. session duration: 1m 52s

The numbers here have greatly increased since last month.
I try my best to make at least 8 pins per blog post, divided into normal pins and pin ideas and I upload them 3 or 4 at a day.
I post here 3 times a week, which gives content to upload on Pinterest nearly every day (except for Sunday). Oh, I also use Canva to make the pins and I work on that every other weekday, roughly whenever a post goes live.
The data shown here accounts for the period between June 24th and July 24th.
And that is it for this month! Until the next one!
